The Product Owner drives the delivery of Debit and Credit Card products, bridging business and technology. The role focuses on Debit/Credit Card platform implementation, system integrations, and digital customer experience, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Own product backlog, user stories, and sprint execution
- Lead end‑to‑end product lifecycle (design → launch → optimization)
- Prioritize features aligned with the Head of the area
- Support implementation of Debit & Credit issuing platform
- Deliver card lifecycle capabilities (origination, issuance, activation, transactions, settlement)
- Ensure alignment with platform strategy and roadmap
- Lead integrations across: Core banking, digital channels, ServiceNow workflows, fraud systems and others
- Define APIs, data flows, and integration requirements
- Manage vendors relation, in coordination with IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and UX/UI
- Align seamless cardholder journeys with UX team (mobile, web, call center)
- Define features such as activation, controls, and servicing
- Comply with Bank Credit and Compliance/BSA policies
- Identify and mitigate operational and integration risks
Requirements
- 5–8 years in product management (banking/payments preferred)
- Experience with card platforms (Visa DPS preferred)
- Strong knowledge of APIs & system integrations and Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban)
- Understanding key revenue and expense of drivers and financial planning basics
- Experience utilizing advanced analytics to drive decision-making
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder communication
- Detail-oriented with strong execution focus
- Degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or similar. A master’s degree is preferred
- Fluent in English. Spanish and Portuguese are considered a plus
Skills Required
- 5-8 years of product management experience
- Banking or payments industry experience
- Experience with debit and credit card products
- Experience with card platforms; Visa DPS preferred
- Strong knowledge of APIs and system integrations
- Experience with Agile delivery, including Scrum or Kanban
- Understanding of revenue and expense drivers and basic financial planning
- Experience using advanced analytics for decision-making
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or a similar field
