Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional development teams, ensuring alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure efficient and effective execution of the Scrum process.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering collaboration and productivity.
- Track labor hours for projects and ensure the team operates within budget and schedule constraints.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Gather, prioritize, and refine high-level requirements from customers to develop actionable product roadmaps.
- Occasionally provide “ballpark” ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) labor hour projections to help customers assess feasibility and funding needs.
- Interface with new customers to explain AA&I processes, technical expectations, and project workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and requirements based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Ensure product backlogs are well-organized, actionable, and aligned with customer goals.
- Work closely with developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and implement business process standards for development teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Organize and facilitate Agile/Scrum process development and training sessions.
- Collaborate with technical leads to ensure alignment on technology procurement and development strategies.
- Provide technical guidance to developers and organize technical training sessions as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Clearance Required: Secret
- US Citizenship is required for work on DoD contract
- Business, Management, Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree
- 5+ years of related academic or professional experience in project or program management, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present and defend technical recommendations
- Proven ability to manage teams, deliver tasks efficiently, and interact professionally across all levels of management
- Experience managing labor hours and ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule constraints.
- Proficiency in JIRA and GitLab, with a minimum of 5+ years of related academic or professional experience.
- Understanding of CI/CD techniques and workflows
- High-level problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and able to work effectively in dynamic environments
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience with Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI for creating advanced visualizations and interactive dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS, or other data engineering platforms for managing and processing large datasets.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and front-end development for building user-centric web applications.
- Familiarity with aviation industry data.
- Scrum Master certification or leadership experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industries.
