Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Resolve complex DevOps tasks.
• Lead the team of Product Operations and DevOps engineers.
• Comprehensively audit the existing service management processes and improvement planning.
• Establish key operational performance indicators and plan.
• Provide immediate response for any alert.
• Liaise with SL1/SL3, 3rd parties and internal stakeholders.
• Provide regular reports to direct manager.
• Ensure service availability is above the agreed threshold. 

Qualifications

Components for success. You have...

• A strong understanding of ITIL framework. Hands-on experience of working with production with zero tolerance to any errors.
• Strong experience in Linux, Docker, configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet), CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins), Cloud services (AWS), Orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad);
• Experience in writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform;
• Experience of working with monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios/Sensu) and logging solutions (Elastic Stack, Loki).
• Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interact with senior management, technical subject matter experts, and business customers are all essential in this role.
• The ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.

• Experience in support of web applications with micro services architecture. Akka cluster management and monitoring.
• NoSQL database support (MongoDB, Couchbase), NGINX server management.
• Programming skills in Python/Bash.

POP & GPAS TEAM

Playtech Open Platform ( POP ) serves as an integration hub that enables well defined integration between 3rd Party Gaming Systems (RGS) and Playtech Gaming Platform as well as Playtech Casino content and 3rd party wallets. It provides single game aggregation for all 3rd party content and enables seamless distribution of Casino content across Playtech licensees. It allows 3rd Party and PT RGSs to integrate with a variety of iGP through standard Third Party Interface hiding complexity of custom protocols. It also replaces the old legacy system and together with marketplace providing end-user game discovery and configuration.

It is the next generation platform from Playtech opted to create new business opportunities. The platform highly accessible, scalable, distributed and event-driven, running on private cloud at different data centers. It is built using reactive micro services architecture and written in Scala programming language. It uses No-SQL Couchbase Database for data persistence and storage and Elasticsearch multimode cluster for keeping all application and system information.
