Cadence is seeking a dynamic and strategic product configuration and data analyst with more than 5 years of hands-on experience and governance of product master data and who will be responsible for day-to-day business operations in managing the central and authoritative record of all types of product-related data in Cadence.
Position Summary
- The Product Configuration & Data Analyst plays a dual role in managing product data integrity and supporting system configuration across the quote-to-cash ecosystem.
- This position is responsible for the data entry, administering and maintaining product definitions including pricing, business unit mapping, features, and release versions.
- The role also encompasses configuring system rules, workflows, and parameters within product and pricing applications, requiring close collaboration with IT teams managing the underlying platforms and business processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in product operations, data management, or a related analyst role.
- Experience with product configuration, pricing, or master data management.
- Familiarity with quote-to-cash (QTC) or order management processes is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and data modeling.
- Experience with ERP or product management systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Pimcore)
- Basic SQL or data querying skills & Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

- Ability to utilize industry-standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling and workflow analysis.
- Strong attention to detail in managing product definitions, pricing, and pricelist publishing.

The annual salary range for California is $144,200 to $267,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
