Job Description

Our Product Compliance & Risk (“PC&R”) team sits at the centre of Wise’s product development function, supporting our cross-functional teams in delivering exceptional financial products for our customers while ensuring they’re compliant by design. 

We’re seeking an organized, process-oriented, and proactive individual to support the operations for PC&R. This role involves maintaining and improving the central processes and systems that allow our global Product organization to operate compliantly and efficiently.

Your Mission:

Reporting to the PC&R Head of Operations, you’ll help facilitate and manage internal operational processes and cadence of our global team of 80+ risk and compliance professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring our global review processes remain effective, our knowledge base remains centralised and assist with implementing multiple new centralised processes that ensures our products launch in markets quickly and safely. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and manage our new global product review process intended to identify, rapidly assess and mitigate compliance risks associated with new product initiatives.

  • This includes maintaining, improving and keeping the cadence of the review process going and ensuring that accountability is maintained across all key stakeholders.

  • Maintaining the PC&R Knowledge Base. Ensure our internal documentation is up to date and maintain a single repository for all relevant documents in PC&R to facilitate knowledge sharing. This includes tracking meeting minutes and outcomes for key committee meetings for transparency and continuity.

  • Facilitate in coordinating and operationalising new and existing PC&R-led processes, including global issues management

  • Help to set up and maintain best practices for team hiring and onboarding to ensure we effectively integrate new talent into the team.

  • Assist in operating internal team rituals and ceremonies, including our bi-annual PC&R days, all-hands meetings, and internal communications. 

 

A bit about you:

  • Highly Organized - You have a natural ability to keep track of multiple moving parts and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Process Oriented - You enjoy building and refining workflows to make them more efficient and scalable.

  • Great Communicator - You are comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple teams and can build strong relationships easily.

  • Tooling Experience -  You have hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.).

  • Analytical and Proactive - You can quickly assess problems, prioritize opportunities, and operate independently with limited guidance.

  • Resilient - You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, can anticipate roadblocks, and remain focused on finding solutions.

  • Global Mindset - You have experience working with global teams and can adapt to different ways of working. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Product compliance experience in financial services 

  • Prior product operations or project management experience
