About the role

The Product Operations Manager owns the product operating cadence for planning and the governance of product roadmaps. This role standardizes planning rituals, templates, and roadmap hygiene across product teams, enabling Product Management and Technology partners to execute with clarity and alignment.

What you'll do

• Run planning process with clear inputs/outputs and decision logs.
• Own roadmap governance: “roadmap-ready” criteria, change control, and artifact quality standards.
• Maintain the roadmap system of record with high hygiene (owner, outcome, status, dependencies).
• Standardize and align practices across product teams (reviews, templates, documentation, decision records).
• Steward product planning/tool workflows (e.g., Jira/Confluence/roadmap tool configuration) to support consistency.
• Facilitate cross-team alignment sessions and drive closure on decisions and misalignments.

• Roadmap hygiene score: % of initiatives with owner + outcome metric + status + dependencies completed.
• Roadmap stability: fewer late-cycle priority changes after planning (tracked via change log).
• Planning efficiency: cycle time from “candidate initiative” to “roadmap-committed” reduces and becomes more predictable.
• Stakeholder confidence: quarterly pulse score from PM/Eng/Design/Commercial on roadmap clarity and planning effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Ops, Program/Portfolio Ops, Strategy & Ops, or product-oriented PMO roles.
• Proven experience running planning cadences and roadmap governance across multiple teams.
• Strong facilitation and executive communication; influence without authority.
• Tooling fluency (Jira/Confluence and roadmap tooling).
