About Daptic

Daptic is building the future of regulatory intelligence, with the mission to empower global manufacturers to navigate complex regulations seamlessly and accelerate the global launch of physical products.

With government regulations and standards becoming increasingly complex, product delays and innovation roadblocks are more common than ever. Daptic automates the identification and analysis of relevant regulations, standards, and product requirements, allowing R&D teams to focus on what they do best: creating groundbreaking products within automotive, aerospace, construction, medicine and healthcare, and beyond.

Currently, with a small focused team, we’re proud to be supporting the development of products used by over 100 million people worldwide.

We’ve secured over $22M in total funding from Canvas Ventures, IA Ventures, 8VC, and other institutional investors who believe in our vision to revolutionize product development.

The Role

As Daptic’s first product marketer, you’ll own how the market understands us: what we do, why it matters now, and why the world’s largest enterprises use us. You’ll work directly with our founders and go-to-market team to turn what we hear from customers into the positioning, sales materials, launches, and content that truly resonates with our customers - regulatory, engineering, and product leaders at the world’s largest enterprises.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Own Our Narrative and Positioning

    • Define how we describe Daptic, the problem we solve, and the category we’re building, and ensure that story is consistent across communications

    • Adapt the story for each industry and function we sell into, from regulatory affairs and product compliance to R&D, engineering, product, legal, and exeuctives

    • Keep a clear view of the alternatives our customers weigh, from consultants and law firm alerts to in-house tools, and ensure our differentiation is clear and easy to repeat

    • Keep our product language consistent across the website, sales materials, and the platform itself

  2. Build Customer Proof

    1. Turn customer wins into case studies and references to fuel future sales

    2. Listen in on customer calls and trials to hear how buyers describe their problems in their own words, and use it to sharpen how we talk about Daptic

    3. Keep the core story and language current as the product changes, so the rest of the team always has the latest version

  3. Tell the Story in Public

    • Work with our founders and in-house regulatory experts to develop a point of view on regulation, AI, and product development, then turn it into content (e.g., bylines, posts, talks, and research)

    • Create the story behind our biggest moments, including product launches, funding news, partnerships, and industry events

    • Run launches end to end with Product, from naming and messaging to customer communications and internal enablement

    • Keep existing customers up to date on what’s new and why it matters to them

What We’re Looking For

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B product marketing at a high-growth startup, with ownership of positioning, launches, and sales enablement

  • A track record of marketing technical products to enterprise buyers such as manufacturers, industrial companies, retailers, etc.

  • Writing that stands out. You can point to work you’ve done, walk us through the thinking behind it, and defend every word. Please include samples with your application.

  • You can sit with an engineer or a regulatory expert, ask the right questions, and come away with the story

  • Experience building with AI tools, with AI already part of how you work day to day

  • Available to work in our office in New York City at least 5 days a week

What We Value

  • You bring structure to unstructured problems. Given an open-ended question with no obvious frame, you build one and work from it.

  • Taste and judgment. You can tell when something is generic and you know how to make it sharper

  • Strong attention to detail and a “110% mindset” in all tasks

  • A proven ability to ramp fast on unfamiliar material. We sell to a variety of expert profiles across topics like safety, emissions, cyber, data privacy, and restricted substances, and across many industries

  • You’re excited to be the first person in the role, with no playbook to inherit

  • Experience thriving in unstructured environments, demonstrating adaptability and initiative

Salary & Benefits

This role offers equity participation and access to our comprehensive benefits program, which covers health, dental, and vision, as well as unlimited PTO.

Skills Required

  • Experience in B2B product marketing at a high-growth startup, including ownership of positioning, launches, and sales enablement
  • Track record marketing technical products to enterprise buyers, such as manufacturers, industrial companies, or retailers
  • Strong writing portfolio with work samples and ability to explain and defend strategic decisions
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers and regulatory experts and translate technical information into compelling stories
  • Experience building with AI tools and using AI in day-to-day work
  • Ability to work onsite in New York City at least five days per week
  • Strong problem-solving, judgment, attention to detail, adaptability, initiative, and ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar material
