Position Summary
The Product Marketing Specialist/Content Designer plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of tasks related to the company’s Product Marketing Development functions. The role is responsible, under moderate supervision, for producing internal and /or external product materials, social media design, print, copywriting, and email marketing support for Product Marketing. This role will also be included in marketing strategies and support for Secondary Marketing with an emphasis on increasing market share and brand recognition.
Compensation
This role is an exempt position with a targeted salary range of $67,170 to $100,754 annually.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
Essential Functions
- Work with Product Development to develop external marketing and ensure consistency with internal marketing on new product roll outs, with the goal of increasing market share and promoting brand recognition.
- Implement strategic product marketing campaigns.
- Design collateral pieces for strategic product marketing content for print, email, videos, web pages, social media, and any other digital channels, used in internal and external communications, including graphic design and copy editing.
- Design internal materials such as trainings, announcements and internal sites.
- Serve as a member of the marketing cross-functional group tasked with identifying new opportunities to advance company objectives and marketing materials for products via multiple marketing channels like print, videos, email, web and social; make recommendations for changes and improvements related to the organization’s product marketing content.
- Ensure quality and adherence to brand standards, style guides, business communications standards and compliance requirements.
- Assist Product Development Manager with Marketing to create, revise and update products identified to be remarketed and internal sales documents warranting revisions/updates for existing products as well as national roll outs of new products.
- Manage product-specific social media calendar and implement social campaign to create a timeline of posts on a monthly basis.
- Proofreads, and suggests copy edits in a variety of documents for product collateral.
- Act as a subject matter expert internally to review and approve field product marketing requests.
- Utilize all internal, approved marketing systems and determine which application(s) is/are best suited for increasing market share; as well as, promoting brand recognition.
- Become an expert on the Guild brand; advise the Marketing Team on brand standards and participate in the Corporate brand Approver group.
- Actively participate in and contribute to content strategy planning sessions for marketing.
- Evaluate performance and effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.
- Drive collective learning, knowledge sharing and marketing best practices.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to help enhance platforms.
- Stay abreast of changes and trends related to products; make recommendations to product and process updates/changes related to knowledge.

- Collaborate with Product Development Team to create content and design product-specific trainings, including live, webinar, and eLearning courses.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, required.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fine Arts or related field required.
- Minimum four years experience prior marketing and design experience required.
- Prior experience in real estate or the mortgage industry preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of email marketing, SEO, Salesforce and social media best practices.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and content management systems required.
- Project management experience is required.
- Strong visual, infographic thinking, with the ability to present data in compelling ways.
