About Nightfall:

Nightfall is the AI-native, unified data loss prevention and insider risk management platform that protects sensitive data across SaaS apps, GenAI tools, email, endpoint devices, and more. Hundreds of customers, spanning AI innovators to top 10 banks, trust Nightfall to detect and stop data exfiltration at scale. Nightfall enables organizations to innovate freely without the risks of losing intellectual property or exposing customer data. Our agentic platform helps security teams regain their time by putting data loss prevention on autopilot. With automatic remediation, security violations can be resolved automatically before they become incidents, and end-users can be automatically trained and coached in the moment to self-heal violations that they introduce.

Nightfall is backed by leading VC firms including Bain Capital Ventures (Enrique Salem - former CEO of Symantec), Venrock (early investors in Cloudflare), WestBridge Capital, Pear VC (early investors in Dropbox and Doordash), and a cadre of cybersecurity leaders including Frederic Kerrest (founder of Okta), Maynard Webb (former COO of eBay), Ryan Carlson (President of Chainguard), Kevin Mandia (founder of Mandiant), and many others.

About the role:

Nightfall is redefining data security for the AI-native enterprise. As AI agents, copilots, and thousands of SaaS applications reshape how data moves inside organizations, traditional security tools can no longer keep up.

Nightfall secure sensitive data across SaaS & AI apps, endpoints and browsers, and AI agents with AI-native detection and real-time response.

We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager to own how our product is explained to the market and how our messaging turns into pipeline.

This role combines product marketing, content marketing, and GTM execution. You will translate complex security technology into clear narratives, build sales materials, and ensure our marketing programs are measurable and performance-driven.

We are looking for someone who can operate strategically and independently - someone who understands not just how to create content, but why it exists and how it drives revenue.

Responsibilities

Product Messaging & Narrative
  • Translate complex cybersecurity and AI technologies into clear narratives for enterprise buyers

  • Own product messaging frameworks and ensure consistent positioning across all marketing and sales materials

  • Develop product content including solution briefs, sales decks, web pages, and product explainers

  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to deeply understand platform capabilities

Sales Enablement
  • Create materials that help sales clearly explain Nightfall’s platform and differentiation

  • Build sales decks, one-pagers, competitive positioning, and product explainers

  • Ensure messaging consistency across marketing, sales, and customer conversations

Go-to-Market Execution
  • Support launches of new features and platform capabilities

  • Coordinate messaging across product, marketing, and sales

  • Build the assets required for successful launches including blogs, decks, webinars, and sales materials

  • Create materials for webinars, events, executive briefings, and reports

Distribution & Channel Strategy
  • Own Nightfall’s LinkedIn publishing cadence and content performance

  • Ensure content is distributed strategically across channels, not published ad hoc

  • Collaborate with the growth team to support campaigns and outbound initiatives

  • Implement and maintain UTM tracking and attribution for marketing initiatives

  • Use data and performance insights to refine messaging, campaigns, and content strategy

Qualifications
  • 5–8 years experience in product marketing, content marketing, or technical marketing

  • Exceptional writing ability and the ability to explain complex technology clearly

  • Experience building sales enablement materials and product messaging

  • Strong understanding of marketing metrics, attribution, and campaign performance

  • Familiarity with UTM tracking, marketing analytics, and reporting dashboards

  • Fluent using AI tools to accelerate research, content creation, messaging development, and sales enablement production.

  • Comfortable operating independently and defining marketing priorities

  • Highly organized with strong project management and execution skills

What We Do

Nightfall is a cybersecurity startup dedicated to helping organizations secure and manage their sensitive data. As a leading enterprise technology company, our product affects the personal data that people entrust businesses to store & process with care every day. Critical data in modern organizations is often sprayed across a broad set of cloud data silos, and it’s a herculean task for security & compliance teams to monitor, manage, and protect this highly sensitive data. Via machine learning, our product makes it easy for organizations to discover, classify, and protect this sensitive data across their cloud footprint - such as their corporate SaaS, data infrastructure, and even their own apps. In doing so, we prevent data leakage, provide unprecedented data visibility & protection across the cloud, and enable compliance. We're a technology startup founded in San Francisco, well-funded by leading institutional investors like Bain and Venrock, and a cadre of security & IT leaders from Okta, Salesforce, Atlassian, Splunk, FireEye, and more. Learn more on our website www.nightfall.ai or by reaching out via email at [email protected].
