Position Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager will be the voice of the customer and the expert on the product, responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, crafting compelling messaging, and driving revenue growth. This role requires exceptional writing skills, strong product strategy acumen, and the ability to lead a matrix teams and programs while serving as a crucial link between the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Ownership: Own the strategy for positioning the AvaSure platform, including messaging, target audience definition, and competitive positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to Product Management and NPL stakeholders, influencing the message, timing, and mix of assets and related projects in alignment with the product roadmap and dynamic market needs. Support close alignment with marketing peers across Customer marketing, Demand Generation and Partner and event marketing collaborators. Work closely with counterparts in the sales organization to understand the voice of the field and projects are aligned.
  • Demo Simulation Ownership: Act as the ‘product manager’ of our demo tool used by our GTM team. Act as a Liaison with our demo software partner and plan for enhancements, build as needed (technical acumen required is minimal) and ensure the tool accurately reflects the latest product features and will highlight compelling use cases to prospective customers and is a dynamic, effective tool for our internal teams.
  • Support GTM training efforts, with internal collaboration to create training for products, messages, marketing materials and tools that empower the client facing team to effectively articulate the product's unique value.
  • Core Messaging: Define and continuously refine the core product narrative, value proposition, and competitive positioning that resonates with target personas.
  • High-Impact Content Creation: Create strategic and technical content across the buyer journey, including sales tools and materials, white papers, eBooks, case studies, website copy, and blog posts, demonstrating excellent writing skills.
  • Launch Execution: Lead the creation of all marketing assets and internal documentation required for successful product launches.
  • Internal Communication: Serve as an excellent communicator and collaborator, ensuring clear, consistent communication of product updates, strategy shifts, and market wins to all internal stakeholders.

Competencies:

  • Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated strength in product strategy, capable of turning complex features into clear, measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Writing and Communication: Exceptional written communication skills are non-negotiable, with a proven portfolio of complex, technical, or strategic marketing content.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience managing technical sales collateral. 
  • Collaboration: Highly collaborative style with proven success working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Executive teams.
  • Ability to lean into innovation, including undefined spaces and yet to be outlined processes. 
  • Undeterred by ambiguity and change.

Supervisory Requirements:

  • None

Education & Experience: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. 
  • Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technically oriented environment. Health tech experience preferable.
  • Experience with demo projects and RFP collaboration a plus

Physical Demands & Working Environment:

  • Must be able to sit for much of the workday with periodic walking and/or standing.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment.
  • This role requires approximately 25% travel.

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 per year
  • Bonus/Commission Eligibility: Yes, bonus eligible for non-sales roles.
