As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll help define and execute the strategy for marketing our Conga Advantage platform.

The messaging about Conga and our value proposition helps drive our success. Being a Product Marketing Manager means crafting and executing a marketing plan to drive sales and customer success. This includes market segmentation, a deep understanding of customer needs across the buyers’ journeys, integrated marketing campaigns, compelling positioning and messaging content, partner programs and events, and sales enablement.

Are you the person we’re looking for?  

Related experience. 3-5 years of product marketing experience in the B2B SaaS space marketing to business and IT influencer and decision makers. 

Natural collaborator. Working with your manager you’ll build partnerships throughout the organization. These partnerships will help define a GTM strategy that delivers results for stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, Partner, and Customer Success teams. It’s a team effort and you completely appreciate that. 

Clear, deliberate, and collaborative communicator. You are clear and concise when you speak and write -- and even creative in terms of ensuring your messages are received and understood. You develop and communicate a deep understanding of market needs, pain points, use cases and business processes, including buyer personas, customer needs and technology ecosystems, complete with positioning and messaging, and product proof points. 

Innovative and Proactive Planning. The market is constantly changing, along with the rules of how we use data to target. You take the initiative to research new tactics, detect and track trends to anticipate market and customer needs and find new ways to improve content effectiveness.    

Product Expertise. Deeply understand your products’ capabilities and differentiators as well as relevant market trends and competitive landscape, to develop easily understood value propositions for different stakeholders in the buying process to enable the Sales organization to effectively deliver Conga’s value proposition.

But in those rare occasions when errors are realized (let’s face it, it happens to the best of us from time to time), you own them, correct them, learn from them, and then quickly adjust and communicate processes to ensure the same mistake doesn’t happen twice. It’s your transparency, authenticity and humility is what sets you apart from the rest. 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.You’re not just comfortable engaging in collaborative discussions, but initiating them, too. You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connection with our clients and allows you to accurately collect the right information so you can resolve issues in the most expedient way. 

Innovative Thinking. In today’s rapidly evolving market landscape, adaptability is key. You should be confident in leveraging AI tools to enhance your work, while actively learning from and sharing best practices with fellow Conganeers to maximize the value of AI-driven technologies.    

Industry expertise. Let’s face it, understanding of Revenue Lifecycle Management software (CPQ & CLM) and/or Salesforce platform would allow you to hit the ground running, but it’s not a requirement. Your ability to quickly learn will help you transition into the role and make an impact in short order.
