The Role

About Us

Orkes is a platform for developers to build durable, distributed event driven applications.  Based on the popular open source orchestration engine Conductor, Orkes lets developers focus on faster go to market with applications, scaling them to handle billions of workflows without having to worry about failures, scalability or visibility into the executions.

At Orkes, we are redefining business process orchestration, and product marketing plays a central role in amplifying our voice. As a Technical Product Marketing Manager, you’ll help shape how the world understands Orkes — from the first blog a developer reads to the first product demo they see. You’ll be the bridge between product, marketing, and sales, enabling go-to-market success and making Orkes irresistible to our audience.

Your Day-to-Day at Orkes
  • Product Demos: Lead impactful demos to showcase Orkes Conductor’s capabilities to analyst teams and other stakeholders. Clearly communicate how the platform solves real-world challenges and drives value.
  • Create Buyer-Focused Content for Enterprise Architects: Develop and publish 1–2 whitepapers per month targeting architects, and technical decision-makers. Strike the right balance between deep technical insight and strategic thought leadership.
  • Drive Competitive Messaging & “Vs.” Pages: Conduct first-hand, in-depth research on competitive products. Build and maintain battlecards, positioning frameworks, and detailed “vs.” pages that clearly articulate Orkes’ differentiation.
  • Conduct Market Research Calls:  Host 2–3 customer or prospect interviews monthly. Extract meaningful insights and convert them into strategic content that fuels demand generation, sales enablement, and product direction.
  • Partner with Demand Gen on Campaigns: Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to craft messaging and content that drives engagement and conversions across key campaigns.
  • Drive Sales Enablement: Create compelling collateral, messaging, battlecards, and playbooks that equip the sales team with everything they need to confidently position and sell Orkes Conductor.
  • Launch Product Updates: Lead go-to-market initiatives for new features and enhancements. Translate complex technical improvements into clear, customer-facing value propositions.
  • Publish Case Studies: Partner with Customer Success to spotlight successful implementations and expand visibility into new customer logos and referenceable stories.
  • Run Monthly Webinars: Plan and execute informative, high-impact webinars that educate prospects and customers on Orkes Conductor’s capabilities, use cases, and best practices.
Qualities That Will Help You Succeed
  • 4-6 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing
  • Comfortable with basic coding and capable of setting up Orkes Conductor, building workflows, and delivering product demos. You don’t need to be an expert, but hands-on familiarity is essential.
  • Passion for competitive research and the ability to distill technical differences into crisp, compelling positioning.
  • Proven experience creating “vs.” pages and competitive intelligence tools that enhance buyer confidence and sales effectiveness.
  • Ability to write fluently for both technical and business audiences—tailoring depth and tone accordingly.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, sales, and marketing.
