The Role:
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing compelling go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth and product adoption for existing products, as well as coordinating and executing launches for new products. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure our products resonate with our target audience and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Product Positioning and Messaging
- Develop and refine compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our offerings in the market.
- Create clear and concise value propositions that resonate with our target audience.
- Develop compelling product narratives that highlight key benefits and use cases.
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align on messaging, sales enablement materials, and customer success stories.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments.
Market Insights and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Monitor competitor activities and analyze their product offerings, marketing strategies, and pricing models.
- Identify opportunities to differentiate our products and gain a competitive advantage.
Product Launches and Events
- Plan and execute successful product launches, including press releases, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
- Develop engaging presentations and demos to showcase product features and benefits.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content for various channels, such as blog posts, social media, and email campaigns.
Sales Enablement
- Develop and deliver effective sales enablement tools and training materials.
- Equip the sales team with the knowledge and resources they need to sell our products effectively.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to the sales team.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, education, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the education technology industry and market trends.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for digital products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build and deliver impactful content.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Proven track record of delivering all aspects of product launches and campaigns, end to end.
