Located in Summerville, SC, KION North America Corporation (KNA) is the responsible entity for serving the markets of USA, Canada and Mexico. Our organization is looking for a Product Marketing Manager. The Product Marketing Manager is a pivotal marketing role in the KION North America Product Management Team and is accountable for defining, launching and building profitable product strategies that build on the global Linde product portfolio reputation and continue building on the North American foundation . This role will work directly with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing functions to ensure products/solutions are developed to the feature and price specifications that each target market segment demands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a 3-to-5-year strategic vision for product and solutions roadmap that deliver growth.
  • Develop overarching value propositions by channel and vertical customer segment.
  • Collaborate with brand and channel marketing to develop integrated offerings that meet the needs of priority vertical customer segments, tailored by channel and market.
  • Responsible for the successful execution of all product launches and the management of all related support materials.
  • Develop business cases for new products and services for consideration in the portfolio management process.
  • Develops and facilitates tools that clearly articulate product trends, competitive value propositions and overall end-user/consumer trends.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging material handling product trends and adjacencies.
  • Boldness to create/shape markets whenever possible, exploiting Linde’s strong brand and product position.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 10 + years in marketing, product development or related field.
  • Strong background in B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Experience in the material handling industry, preferably forklift manufacturing.
  • Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and existing and new products into solutions; comfortable with making tradeoffs, decisively.
  • Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality and introduction date targets.
  • Demonstrable communication skills and ability to lead an organization to develop market leading products/solutions.
  • Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues.
  • Required to have deep expertise in market segmentation, product strategy, competitive strategy, and product development.
  • High proficiency with suite of Microsoft tools.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with warehousing equipment and technology.
