Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Division provides industry leading metrology solutions for worldwide semiconductor IC manufacturers. The FaST Division portfolio of metrology products includes hardware and software solutions for optical film thickness, optical critical dimension (CD), composition, and resistivity measurement systems. These products are essential for the IC manufacturers as they provide critical metrology capabilities for the development and implementation of their advanced IC processes. The FaST division is committed to support our customers to achieve performance entitlement of our solution and we effectively partner with our customers from their early research and development phase to the high volume in-line manufacturing implementation specific for their process needs. The division consists of a global team located in US, Israel, China, and India.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Our proprietary semiconductor and related microelectronics production products, technologies, and systems are highly innovative, and their exceptionally precise performance helps KLA FaST division maintain a competitive advantage in the market.

Primary responsibilities:

The Product Marketing Manager will development of market requirements for product(s) or product line(s) in FaST division, including product strategy definition, market research, identifying customer needs, and pricing. Develop business and product marketing plans, manage product life cycles (PLC), and own product positioning in the marketplace and customer engagement from penetration to adoption. Interact with other departments in division including applications, engineering, manufacturing, and sales to improve existing products.

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for all strategic aspects of specific products from the Fast Division. The PMM drives our engagements in high growth markets by clearly defining and promoting differentiated products and interacting with key strategic customers.

Responsible for business objectives of certain regions/accounts and support pre-sales as well as after sales projects. Activities as a region or account owner include developing product presentations for key customers, defining production penetration & adoption strategies for specific accounts, together with regional teams.

Desired include Qualifications:

· Semiconductor or packaging cleanroom/fab process knowledge

· Development of business plans and product introduction plans

· Market analysis by compiling customer information and industry reports

· Strategic marketing to understand changing requirements and new opportunities

· Forecasting product demand

· Competition analysis

· Product Pricing

· Support new product release through Beta at customer sites

· Customer engagements

· Work closely with Customer, Field Applications and Marketing, and Engineering to ensure timely and successful closure of Betas and early shippers

· Technical presentations and executive summaries

· Knowledge/experience on Metrology tools/applications is a plus

· Knowledge/experience on etch, thin films, lithography is a plus

· 30 - 40% travel, including international travel

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
