Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive external marketing strategies, including creating differentiated product narratives, creating sales enablement materials & promotional campaigns to optimize new product introductions, and maximize the value of products and solutions throughout their lifecycle.

Main Responsabilities 

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling and differentiated product narratives that resonate with target audiences across different regions.
  • Sales Enablement: Create sales enablement materials such as brochures, presentations, and cheat sheets to empower the sales team to effectively communicate the product's value proposition.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote the product, drive customer engagement, and increase conversion rates.
  • Competitive Analysis: Regularly analyze competitors' products, marketing strategies, and market presence to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, sales, and customer support teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behavior.
  • Content Creation: Craft high-quality content that highlights the product’s features, benefits, and use cases, tailored for different stages of the customer journey.
  • Global Market Adaptation: Support regional marketing teams in adapting marketing strategies and content to cater to diverse global markets, considering cultural nuances and local regulations.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using KPIs and metrics, and adjust strategies as needed for optimal results.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in product marketing and the technical domain of the product.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience and Skills:

    • Proven track record in product marketing, with 5-7 years focusing on technical products.
    • Demonstrated success in international product marketing.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing clear communication of technical concepts.
    • Experience in designing and executing successful promotional campaigns.
  • Education and Language:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.
  • Analytical and Strategic Abilities:

    • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
    • Ability to develop long-term marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:

    • Excellent project management skills, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management and sales.
  • Additional Qualifications:

    • Global marketing organization experience/qualification.
    • Demonstrated self-learning and development.
    • Interest in and utilization of new technologies, like AI.
    • Self-motivated, hands-on approach.
    • Customer service mindset.
