We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead discovery, definition, and go-to-market efforts (messaging, launch, enablement) for Bazaarvoice's product offerings in the SMB Segment. As a Product Marketing Manager focused on solutions for the SMB Segment, you will partner with other SMB focused teams (e.g.: SMB Sales) to drive segment growth and meet company goals. As part of the Bazaarvoice’s Product Marketing Team, you will be working to develop best practices, improve productivity and grow your skill set.


The Product Marketing team at Bazaarvoice has the global responsibility of developing, launching, and growing new offers in the market that meets the needs of all our segments worldwide (SMB, Enterprise in N America, EMEA and APAC) across both brands and retailers. This role will report into the Senior Director of Product and Solutions Marketing. This role will work very closely alongside other product marketers focused on specific products and product categories and focused on segments and solutions to support revenue growth. This role will specifically be responsible for offering strategy and GTM planning in the SMB segment across the various Bazaarvoice product lines. 


What you will be doing:

Segment performance

- Help develop and optimize positioning, messaging and sales tools to support segment growth and adoption

- Maintain quantitative and qualitative performance measures on segment performance


Market feedback and voice of the customer

- Be the voice of the customer for internal cross-functional teams to ensure product and sales priorities align with ideal customer profiles.

- Identify and maintain market audience and buyer persona definitions for the specific segment customer audience

- Own competitive intelligence, win-loss analysis and field enablement for SMB offerings

- Work directly with Sales & Client Success to understand client and prospect behavior in order to develop and test new assets, research

- Work with Pricing leader and management on opportunities for better segment-specific pricing and packaging


Go-to-market activities

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new offerings (messaging, launch, enablement, etc.)

- Be the SMB segment subject matter expert so that other marketing teams can ideate and create solutions messaging, blogs, landing pages, webinars, events, campaigns and other demand generation vehicles that effectively promote the products

 

Other

- This role will work across the organization to launch and optimize product offerings. Partner teams will include Product Management, Sales, Client Success, Global Marketing, Operations, Value Reporting, Legal, and the Content & Creator senior leadership team.

- Build and maintain market expertise on eCommerce and Social Marketing trends, consumer shopping behavior and buyer needs

  • 5+ years’ experience in SaaS Solutions or Product Marketing in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing market opportunities, defining market requirements, and managing go-to-market for SaaS B2B services/support offerings
  • Experience taking SaaS offerings to market and working in the tech industry
  • Data-driven, creative, and exceptional communications skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate insights as well as presentation skills across various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a strategic thinker
  • Ability to effectively work cross-functionally to achieve business portfolio objectives.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Plus: Experience in ecommerce or social marketing
