We're Future, a global leader in specialist media. Our people bring our trusted brands to life, helping millions of people discover expert content that informs, inspires, and drives action. As a pioneering multiplatform media powerhouse, we provide expert content and technology that build valuable communities across all channels.
You'll join our Commercial Product Marketing team, driving innovation across Future's global portfolio of premier digital brands. We connect millions of engaged consumers with leading advertisers through market-leading ad products, high-impact content, and proprietary technology. Our team turns industry insights into revenue opportunities that power sustainable commercial growth.
We're looking for an entrepreneurial Product Marketing Manager to help define the next generation of Future's advertising products.
This role is for someone who deeply understands advertising and knows where the industry is headed - and can translate that expertise into new products, packages, and revenue opportunities for Future.
You won't simply market an existing roadmap or take requests. You'll identify opportunities, validate them with advertisers and agencies, shape what we build, and own the strategy to bring new products to market.
What You'll DoYou will report to the Director of Product Marketing
- Own Advertising Innovation: Identify emerging trends, customer needs, technologies, and market whitespace that could create meaningful new opportunities for Future.
- Identify What to Build: Develop and validate new advertising products, formats, and monetization opportunities based on customer insight and commercial potential.
- Own Monetization Strategy: Develop pricing, packaging, revenue models, and strategies to increase the value and monetization of Future's advertising products.
- Shape the Product Roadmap: Translate opportunities into product requirements, working closely with Product and Sales through development and experimentation.
- Prove & Scale: Run pilots and experiments to validate demand and commercial potential, then determine what should be scaled, iterated, or stopped.
- Lead Go-to-Market: Develop positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging, sales strategy, and launch plans. Partner with Marketing to plan and deliver external campaigns that build awareness, generate demand, and drive adoption.
- Be the Expert: Bring a deep point of view on advertising, ad tech, media buying, and publisher monetization to Future's Product, Sales, and Marketing organizations.
- 5+ years of experience in advertising, ad tech, digital media, publisher monetization, media buying, or a closely related field.
- Deep expertise in the digital advertising ecosystem is required.
- Demonstrated experience developing or launching new advertising products, formats, monetization solutions, or commercial offerings.
- Strong understanding of advertisers, agencies, publishers, ad technology, and advertising economics.
- Experience partnering directly with Product and Engineering.
- Proven ability to identify and validate new opportunities - not simply execute an existing roadmap.
- Strong commercial instincts around pricing, packaging, and monetization.
- Highly curious and innovation-minded, with an interest in emerging technology and AI.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
- Highly autonomous and entrepreneurial; comfortable creating the path forward rather than waiting for one.
Experience in advertising, ad tech, media buying, publisher monetization, marketing technology, or digital media is a plus, as is experience with high-volume, self-service, automation, or AI-enabled products.
