About the role: 


The Product Marketing Manager SB (Kitchen, Bath, Furniture - Retail) owns the end-to-end lifecycle of SMB products, leading positioning, launches, onboarding, and adoption initiatives to drive growth and customer value. This role focuses on optimizing digital and eCommerce buyer journeys, strengthening product positioning, and enabling sales and customer teams to deliver consistent, high-impact go-to-market execution.


Main responsibilities


Own end to product lifecycle for SMB products
• Lead product launches from positioning and messaging through go to market execution
• Own lifecycle strategies from launch to onboarding, adoption, and sustained usage
• Partner with Product and Customer teams to improve activation, retention, and expansion

Drive growth through eCommerce enabled buyer journeys
• Define product marketing strategies that support digital, self serve, and eCommerce purchase paths
• Shape how products are presented, packaged, and messaged across digital touchpoints
• Optimize key lifecycle moments—trial, purchase, onboarding, and adoption—to reduce friction and increase conversion

Apply growth marketing principles within product marketing
• Focus on growth outcomes such as activation, adoption, engagement, and customer value realization
• Identify lifecycle levers to improve conversion and usage across the funnel
• Define success metrics for launches, onboarding, and adoption initiatives, and continuously optimize based on performance

Build clear and differentiated product positioning
• Develop compelling value propositions tailored to small business customer needs
• Create scalable messaging frameworks that support growth initiatives across regions, channels, and digital touchpoints
• Translate complex product capabilities into simple, outcome oriented customer narratives

Deepen customer and market understanding
• Define SB buyer and user personas informed by research, behavioural data, and data insights
• Run customer research initiatives to inform positioning, lifecycle strategies, and digital adoption programs
• Build market maturity models and customer archetypes to guide go to market and lifecycle priorities

Enable sales and customer facing teams
• Create launch, onboarding, and enablement assets for sales, partners, customer success, and digital channels
• Develop competitive differentiation materials and battlecards to support value based selling
• Ensure consistent value messaging across sales assisted and eCommerce led motions

Scale product marketing excellence
• Establish repeatable, high quality product marketing processes across the organization
• Strengthen how product marketing supports growth across the full customer lifecycle, including eCommerce
• Act as a hands-on contributor driving measurable impact, not just frameworks


Skills and requirements


• +5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or a closely related role within a technology environment
• Proven experience managing products across the full lifecycle—from launch through onboarding and adoption
• Experience supporting or enabling digital, self-serve, or eCommerce driven buyer journeys
• Strong understanding of small business customers and their buying and usage behaviours

Skills & Competencies

• Strong product marketing foundation with a clear focus on growth, adoption, and lifecycle outcomes
• Ability to understand complex software solutions and articulate customer value across digital and sales led channels
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, analytical thinking combined with hands on execution
• Comfortable working independently and in a globally distributed, fast paced team
• Proactive, outcome oriented, and continuously curious
