As a Product Marketing Manager II at AvidXchange, you will play a critical role in leveraging data and analytics to inform the execution of our vertically focused sales teams. You will be responsible for using data and analytics, developing market and customer insights, developing dashboards, reports, and processes that deliver high-fidelity insights to the sales teams. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong collaboration skills, and relentless execution. What you'll do
- Leverage analytics skills to monitor pipeline across the sales segments and ensure the supporting marketing plan is aligned with the specific needs of the sales segments.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify key Accounting Systems, ERPs, our customer needs, market trends, to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Content Creation: Create compelling and informative content, including product collateral, presentations, webinars to support marketing campaigns and sales efforts in building awareness.
- Maintain and enhance the models for AvidXchange long-range strategy and growth scenarios.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including our partners, product management, and sales to align on messaging, positioning, and goals.
- Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with compelling and useful enablement assets such as plays, deal wins, training decks, FAQs, and videos to effectively sell our products and achieve revenue targets.
- Partner with Sales & Advocacy Marketing to highlight customer success in our content, campaigns, and events.
- Partner across Product and sales teams to develop industry narrative, including defining customer challenges, value proposition & resulting customer benefit (i.e., be able to describe how and why a manufacturing company should consider AvidXChange or consider new add-ons.)
- Stakeholder Management: build consensus, alignment, and engagement across Campaigns, Creative, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Pricing Strategy, and Customer Success.
What we're looking for
- History of product marketing. Payments and Invoice Automation experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing and/or product management
- Excellent communicator and storyteller that can explain complex concepts concisely and articulate points of view persuasively.
- Analytical thinker that backs up points of view with meaningful data and has a high level of experience and skill with data analysis and tools.
- A self-starter that can analyze, plan, lead, execute, and measure complex projects to deliver successful outcomes with minimal guidance.
- Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
- A team player with a strong ability and appetite for interacting with external and internal stakeholders and that takes pride in helping others succeed.
