Trading is the core of what we do at Coinbase. The Trading team focuses on everything from the experience of buying and selling your first cryptocurrency, all the way to building derivatives trading on Coinbase Advanced. You’ll focus on growing global traders and trading volume across both our simple and advanced platforms.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Be the voice of the customer: immerse yourself in the crypto trading ecosystem and understand different customer segments, from crypto beginners looking to make their first few purchases to pro traders looking to increase their derivatives trading.
- Develop growth strategies and tactics: ideate, refine, and execute growth strategies based on business priorities. This will include promotions, pricing iterations, paid marketing, and events/activations.
- Lead product and feature launches: put together go to market strategy for product and feature launches within the trading ecosystem
- Measure and report against the performance of product marketing initiatives
- Think big about the future of trading crypto and how we can build better experiences and deeper connections with traders
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within the crypto or FinTech space.
- Demonstrated track record of ideating and implementing growth strategies on products
- Demonstrated track record of creating customer segmentation and insights
- Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual
- Advanced quantitative and deductive skills. Ability to distinguish between the signal and the noise and make data-guided actions
- Outstanding project management skills
- Self-starter and ability to be ready to roll-up your sleeves and get things done
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
Nice to haves:
- Experience at a cryptocurrency exchange or DEX
- Avid crypto trader
- Multiple language skills

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$127,075—$149,500 USD
