- Estimated annual base pay: $127,200(minimum) - $159,000(midpoint) - $190,800(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Product Marketing Manager with Engine experience, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Product Marketing Manager is an expert in the customers application and use of the products within their assigned category. They collaborate with Industry Marketing to identify market problems and work with engineering to develop products and solutions that win in the market.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for delivering actionable competitive analysis to support new product requirements, market messaging and sales enablement.
- Responsible for conducting market research to determine product value and establishing pricing models, schedules and guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze key market performance indicators for their assigned products and implement marketing strategies related to pricing, lifecycle management, sales enablement and positioning to achieve targets.
- Create the build/buy/partner analysis to determine our approach to offering new solutions.
- Primary author of Product Positioning documents which support the efforts of our marketing communication and sales enablement teams. Responsible for developing the value propositions for their assigned products.
- Monitor relevant industry associations, existing and potential customers, and competition.
- Provide input to Product Management teams driving new product investments and product rationalization. Develop the business plan for investment for new product development. Primary author of the Marketing Requirements Document for new products.
- Create and maintain User and Buyer Personas.
- Deliver presentations at key industry events to increase Woodwards brand awareness and credibility.
- Responsible for long range market forecasting in assigned industry/product groups.
- Provide input to Strategic Planning cycle.
What We Are Looking For
- US – Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing or related customer facing role in a business-to-business organization targeting Industrial Engine OEM’s, Engineering Firms, and Asset Owners. Or engineering, service or other product technical role working within industry as a user of Woodward, or competitive products.
- 5+ years of additional training or experience in Product Management and/or Marketing.
- Specific experience in the use or specification of engine control products.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence colleagues in a matrix organization.
- Deep understanding of various organizations within the relevant industry such as competitors, existing and potential customers, and influencers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Woodward products and services or competitive offerings and their applications.
- Deep understanding of the buying process for products and services within the Woodward portfolio.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting market analysis and development of marketing plans.
- Excellent English language communication skills, both written and oral.
