We're looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Manager - APJ to drive the go-to-market success of our products. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, market expertise, and tactical execution to tailor global messaging and content to activate in region. As the bridge between global product marketing, campaigns, sales, and regional marketing teams, you will ensure Veeam's products resonate with the needs of our customers and partners, cementing our position as the market leader in data resilience and business continuity solutions in the APJ region.
Reporting into the Senior Director of Product Marketing, this position will work alongside Veeam's team of Regional APJ Marketers as well as the broader Global Product Marketing team to further position growth in the enterprise segment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Global – Field Collaboration: Skillfully balance global program objectives with regional execution. Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies aligned with global product initiatives. Foster partnership and collaboration between global and field teams to create authentic programs that will resonate in region.
- Regional GTM Strategy: Formulate regional market sizing, segmentation, and targeting strategies, rolling up to inform the global approach
- Persona development: Research, develop, and deploy regional buyer personas (when needed) using a deep understanding of target buyer needs, the buying decision process, scenarios, and regional variations
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Tailor product messaging to resonate with regional audiences, ensuring alignment with corporate positioning.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor local market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Sales Enablement: Partner with Sales Acceleration Team to create and deliver training, collateral, and tools to equip the sales teams with compelling enterprise solutions.
- Launch Planning and Execution: Oversee regional launch planning and own regional launch dashboards for new product, solution, and services offerings, coordinating and interlocking upstream with global teams and downstream with regional/local teams
- Campaign Development: Collaborate with regional marketing teams to design and execute integrated campaigns that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Partner Engagement: Support partner marketing efforts by providing product insights and tailored marketing assets. Collaborate with channel teams where channel plays a key regional go-to-market role
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing efforts, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5-7 years of product marketing experience, preferably in technology or SaaS industries.
- Proven track record in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and product launches.
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics, competitive landscape strong ability to grasp in-region dynamics influencing purchases such as regulations, global pressures, and evolving markets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with global and regional teams.
- Multi-language fluency, Mandarin proficiency is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
