The Role
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for the Direct Platform Marketing team, responsible for driving the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, positioning, segmentation, and content development for a new advisor software product in the APAC region. Reporting to the Associate Director of Regional Product Marketing, this role requires collaboration with key stakeholders across product management, sales, marketing, and client success. You will join a growing team of regional product marketers, focused on maximizing the revenue potential of the Direct Platform outside the US by developing localized marketing strategies and supporting regional teams. This position will be based in Tokyo, Japan and hybrid office attendance is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a go-to-market (GTM) strategy for a new product designed for key growth regions. This includes developing foundational positioning and messaging, and crafting launch plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, and success, to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
- Own the creation and maintenance of marketing content including, but not limited to, message maps, value propositions, market sizing, segmentation, competitive intelligence, buyer/user personas, buyer's journey experiences and sales enablement materials - regionalizing and translating (with the assistance of linguists) assets into local language where appropriate.
- Deeply understand and document the needs of our target client segment by conducting win/loss interviews, customer satisfaction studies, and client surveys.
- Support regional demand generation and content marketing campaigns with expertly crafted persona-specific content.
- Use a data-driven approach to the development and measurement of marketing campaigns focused on driving retention, wallet, and market share growth for the business.
- Perform other duties as necessary from time to time.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a product marketing or product management capacity
- Financial industry and/or SaaS/PaaS experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree
