Sr. Product Marketing Manager – Multiphase Controllers Compute (Client, Cloud & AI)

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is a senior leadership role at onsemi for a motivated, customer-focused, and self-driven leader to own and drive the multiphase VRM controller product portfolio for CPU, GPU, and high-performance compute applications across the Client, Cloud, and AI datacenter segments. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence next-generation platform architectures, drive design wins with leading customers, and establish market leadership in multiphase power control solutions.

Responsibilities

As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will:


  • Lead product strategy for multiphase controllers from definition through market release and drive profitable growth of the portfolio
  • Develop and execute product roadmaps based on deep understanding of CPU/GPU power delivery architectures, VRM requirements, telemetry, and control systems
  • Act as the key interface with Sales, FAE, and key customers to drive design-in opportunities and achieve design-win targets
  • Provide thought leadership in multiphase controllers, system-level power optimization, and platform architecture, anticipating and shaping market needs
  • Meet or exceed revenue, design-win, and margin goals for the business unit
  • Collaborate with teams across Tech Dev, Design, Product & Test engineering, Project Management, Firmware, and Apps Engineering, to ensure product success
  • Influence architecture decisions with OEMs, hyperscalers, and ecosystem partners
  • Support customer engagements, technical discussions, and industry forums to build strong relationships and drive adoption
  • Balance product differentiation, feature set, and cost structure to ensure competitive and scalable solutions

Qualifications

Qualifications that will allow you to be successful:

  • 8+ years in the semiconductor industry and/or system-level power electronics
  • Domain expertise in multiphase controllers, and voltage regulator architectures
  • Understanding of CPU/GPU compute power delivery requirements and system-level challenges
  • Proven experience in product management, product marketing, or product line leadership, including driving design wins
  • Strong technical capability combined with a customer-focused mindset and ability to engage system architects and power engineers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, pricing strategies, and market plans
  • Experience working with global customers and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to internal senior management and external customer leaders

Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $151,455.00 - 272,550.00 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
