About AirOps

AirOps is the first end-to-end content engineering platform built for the AI era. In a world where discovery is shifting from traditional search to AI-driven platforms, we help brands get found—and stay found. We are currently in a phase of hyper-growth, having 5x’d our revenue in the last year by helping marketing teams at Ramp, Chime, Carta, and Rippling turn content quality into a durable competitive advantage.

Our platform equips marketers to navigate the new discovery landscape, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and create accurate, on-brand content that earns citations from AI and trust from humans. Backed by Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective, we are building the intelligent systems that will empower the next generation of marketing leaders. AirOps is headquartered in San Francisco, New York and Montevideo.

About the role

AirOps has proven product-market fit, the category is wide open, and this role is about making AirOps the name people associate with the future of marketing. We’re hiring a Head of Product Marketing to build the function, own the narrative, and connect every product release to a bigger story that the market (and our teams) can repeat.

This is a leadership role with real ownership: you’ll set strategy and execute, partner directly with founders and senior leadership, and define what great product marketing looks like at AirOps. If you want to shape how a new category gets named, explained, and won — this is a standout seat.

What you’ll own
  • Product Marketing at AirOps: build the function from the ground up, define the right processes for our stage of growth, in close partnership with the CMO

  • Narrative and positioning: make AirOps the AI tool marketing teams bet on as a system, not just a set of features

  • Launch motion: own the product launch strategy and calendar — every launch has a clear point of view, the right assets, and a plan to reach the right audience

  • Sales enablement: build programs that help everyone at AirOps tell the story of why AirOps and why now — anticipate what Sales needs and work side by side with them to close deals

  • Cross-functional partnership: work tightly across Product, Sales, and Marketing — equally comfortable workshopping the overall narrative with the CEO and writing an outbound sequence

What success looks like
  • AirOps becomes the trusted platform for marketing teams to help their brand get seen, cited, and celebrated in the age of AI

  • Launches are consistent, high-quality, and drive measurable impact.

  • Sales has the messaging, proof points, and tools to win more deals with less friction.

  • AirOps has a durable narrative that evolves as the product evolves.

Key experience and skills
  • 7+ years in B2B product marketing, ideally at a startup or growth-stage company

  • Experience marketing a technical product to a creative audience — you translate complexity into language that resonates

  • Exceptional writing: you have samples you are proud of — launch posts, messaging docs, decks — and you hold quality to a high standard

  • Launch experience that drove measurable business impact: you care about outcomes, not outputs

  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Product and Sales, with management experience and the ability to build a small team right away

About you
  • You love making other teams better, not just producing your own work.

  • You bring taste and craft, and you care deeply about quality.

  • You’re energized by ambiguity and enjoy building new systems.

  • You’re high-agency and hands-on. The idea of doing both strategy and execution sounds fun.

  • You enjoy being the connector between Product and Sales, and you’re proactive about anticipating needs.

Our Guiding Principles
  1. Extreme Ownership

  2. Quality

  3. Curiosity and Play

  4. Make Our Customers Heroes

  5. Respectful Candor

Benefits
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup

  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location

  • Flexible time off policy

  • Parental Leave

  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
