You'll lead initiatives supporting the User group at Roblox spearheading the development of innovative features and tools, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful products that promote connection, communication, co-experience (joining together) and content sharing.
You will report to the Head of User & Discovery Product Marketing. This role is located at our headquarters in San Mateo, California. #LI-Hybrid
You will:
- Drive the marketing strategy, messaging, and positioning for Social, which includes Communication, Connection, Content Sharing and Communities products for all ages. Products may include: Party chat, content sharing with video captures, and Roblox Communities.
- Lead the positioning and messaging strategies for critical, complex and trailblazing areas of investment in Social, including new ways for users of all ages to communicate and interact safely.
- Work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Comms, Policy, Partnerships, and Developer teams. Become a trusted advisor to these departments.
- Anticipate movement within our competitive space and users to predict market trends and product needs.
You have:
- 7+ years of product marketing experience preferably with a global platform.
- Expertise in go to market for high-quality consumer apps, with a focus on Social products. Knowledge of digital and mobile video, as well as the entertainment and technology industries is nice to have.
- Proficiency in messaging, positioning and marketing/content strategy.
- Experience leading omnichannel product marketing strategies.
- Proven track record driving cross-functional alignment, cohesive teamwork and working with product and other key team members at all levels.
- Familiarity navigating safety and regulatory landscapes, as well as handling perceived risks with suitable product and messaging solutions.
- Skilled in delivering presentations, providing recommendations, and influencing decision-making at the executive level.
- High attention to detail including precise and effective communications.
- Globally minded with a high level of audience focus and instincts for partner, creator and user needs.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$248,590—$283,680 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

We are requiring employees to be in the office three days a week – with core days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, employees may choose to work remotely, although the office will still be open.
