What do we do?

Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we're a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It's faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We're backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 6,000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role

As Product Marketing Lead, Experience, you will own product marketing for the Experience product group. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you will turn customer insight into positioning, go-to-market plans, and measurable customer and business impact. You will work across Product, Growth, Revenue Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Brand, while partnering with the senior leadership team on broader company positioning and category strategy.

What you'll do
  • Build customer and market insight through research, customer conversations, usage signals, competitive intelligence, and commercial feedback.

  • Define positioning, messaging, segmentation, proof points, and the product story to address the problem space the product addresses.

  • Lead high-impact launches from early strategy through readiness, channel activation, adoption, advocacy, and learning.

  • Build focused go-to-market plans across the channels that matter, with clear audiences, owners, trade-offs, and measures.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering early enough to influence the product roadmap, priorities, onboarding, packaging, proof, and the customer experience.

  • Equip Revenue Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and partners with the stories and tools they need to create customer value.

  • Bring competitive and market insight into product and go-to-market decisions, and identify opportunities to sharpen differentiation.

  • Set objectives and measures for customer adoption, retention, and commercial impact. Make practical recommendations using data and opportunity sizing to highlight the business and customer opportunity.

  • Use AI to improve research, synthesis, analysis, workflow automation, and product marketing quality, with strong judgement and verification.

We'd love to hear from you if you are

  • A track record of bringing complex, technical, platform, developer, AI or FinTech products to market.

  • Experience leading multiple high-impact launches across channels showcasing measurable results.

  • Strong customer discovery, segmentation, positioning, storytelling, and product context.

  • The ability to simplify complexity without losing accuracy or credibility.

  • Comfort working with technical and commercial audiences and influencing across functions without formal authority.

  • Range across launches, adoption, lifecycle, enablement, measurement, competitive insight, and customer advocacy.

  • Examples of using AI, agents, or automation to improve speed, quality, or insight.

What good looks like

Within your first year, the Experience team has a sharper product story, a repeatable approach to launches, stronger enablement, and a clear view of what is driving customer adoption and commercial impact. Product and go-to-market partners trust you to bring clarity, make smart trade-offs, and turn insight into action.
