Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and tech-curious Product Marketing Intern to join our Data Security Product Marketing team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our technical product capabilities and the people who need them. You’ll help tell the story of how our security solutions protect information in an increasingly digital world. A primary focus of this internship is modernizing how we work: you will experiment with AI tools like Claude or Copilot to build smarter, faster workflows for content creation and market research. This is a perfect fit for someone who understands technology but is truly passionate about strategy, communication, and the future of AI-driven productivity.
Essential Functions
Storytelling & Content Creation:
- Draft engaging marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, and customer success stories that make data security easy to understand.
- Help create visually appealing sales decks and one-pagers that highlight our product’s unique value.
AI Workflow Design:
- Test and implement AI-based tools (Claude, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to automate repetitive tasks like summarizing technical specs or drafting initial content outlines.
- Create "How-To" guides for the team on using AI to improve day-to-day marketing efficiency.
Market & Competitive Research:
- Keep a pulse on the cybersecurity industry by monitoring news, trends, and competitor announcements.
- Summarize market findings into actionable insights for the Product Marketing Managers.
Campaign Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of product launches and digital marketing campaigns.
- Help coordinate technical webinars or events by managing timelines and supporting promotional assets.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or Business or a related field. A background or strong interest in Computer Science or IT is highly preferred to help navigate the technical nature of our products.
- Communication Skills: Strong writing and storytelling abilities. You should be able to take a technical concept and explain it to a non-technical friend.
- AI Curiosity: High comfort level using GenAI tools (like Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT) and an interest in finding new ways to apply them to business workflows.
- Adaptability: A "learn-by-doing" attitude. You aren't afraid to dive into a new software tool or a complex industry topic to figure out how it works.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with different teams, from engineering to sales, in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Familiarity: While you won't be writing production code, you should be eager to experiment with agentic tools and orchestration.
