Product Marketing Engineer – Automotive BU Team, Germany (m/f/d)

We are looking for dedicated and results-oriented professional, who will join the Automotive Product Line Team with focus on EMEA region and help us make the world a better place through innovation, which means we’re taking risks and questioning conventional thinking, and developing new technologies and ways of doing business – leading the way, every single day.

Your day-to-day – We do what others say can’t be done

  • Identify Market & Application Demands then translate to Prioritized Product Requirements from Customer, Product & Competitor Analysis
  • Partner with our Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Applications Teams to:
    • Build and enhance relationships with targeted accounts
    • Define and qualify business opportunities, product requirements, and pricing strategies
    • Ensure timely responses to sales inquiries
    • Analyze sales forecasts for all automotive products in the region
    • Achieve business unit objectives that align with our financial goals
    • Monitor product fulfillment within your territory to enhance customer satisfaction and drive improvements where needed
    • Understand important milestones for targeted accounts and coordinate product execution to meet those goals
    • Identify technical product fit and construct compelling business cases for new features and products
    • Develop and conduct technical product and application training sessions focused on SiC in on-board automotive systems
  • Design and implement demand generation programs and create engaging product promotions and training initiatives to support our growth strategies.

Your Profile – Ready to join the Pack?

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or marketing within the semiconductor or automotive industry.
    • A solid understanding of power electronics systems design and optimization, along with semiconductor fundamentals.
    • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), along with strong negotiation and leadership abilities, enabling effective collaboration across diverse departments and geographies.
    • Ability to integrate technical and commercial requirements to deliver a balanced problem-solving approach.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Proficient in written and spoken English, with advanced skills in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience working in the automotive industry.
    • Experience as an application engineer in high-power system design.
    • Knowledge of power semiconductor devices and their applications.
    • Interest in and understanding of vehicle electrification.
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
    • Strong analytical skills and relevant experience.
