We are actively seeking a Product Marketing Director, Oracle This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Position Summary
Rimini Street is looking for a passionate, experienced customer-centric Product Marketer who will help propel and advance our growing product and services portfolio. This Product Marketer is responsible for defining how we go to market, creating key sales plays and related content and messaging, campaign strategies, sales tools, product launch, and sales enablement content – all in support of developing world-class product strategy and go-to-market plans and its related execution. You will work cross-functionally to support marketing campaigns, awareness-building, new product releases, and support sales in positioning and selling our products and services across multiple personas. You are the product spokesperson who will work in tandem with Sales Enablement to define and optimize the sales process to ensure we are delivering the right message, to the right audience and the right time.
This is a perfect role for someone who is fast-paced and wants to be a key contributor to a passionate Product Marketing department focused on bringing incredible value to businesses while at the same time disrupting the software support and services industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and own go-to-market for Oracle applications (E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Siebel) and Oracle database
  • Define and build key sales motions and sales plays to take specific products, services, and solutions to market.
  • Build differentiated product value propositions, positioning, and messaging specific to Oracle applications and databases.
  • Understand customer segmentation, targeted industries, and market trends.
  • Define buyer personas and buyer journeys with the ability to articulate and apply them across all sales tools, sales triggers, and marketing content.
  • Communicate the product and/or service value proposition to all internal stakeholders.
  • Develop content for sales collateral and tools to support the sales cycle (i.e. sales playbook, motions, and pitches)
  • Collaborate with product teams on product strategy and positioning to support, product launches and releases.
  • Create and update key compelling use cases based on client interviews and engagements to illustrate the value delivered to our clients.
  • Conduct core research on competitors, relevant market trends, distill customer requirements, and emerging customer use cases.
  • Partner with Demand Generation, Awareness, Creative, and Content Strategy teams.
  • Work across all functions and teams to ensure the right content and programs are developed and successfully delivered producing measurable results.
  • Act as an SME across the organization to support thought leadership and market positioning.
  • Champion voice of the client by capturing CX insights about our clients’ requirements through direct and indirect client outreach
  • Collaborate with Partners to build new market differentiators that streamline, scale, and increase the efficacy of our marketing activities

Education

  • BS/BA degree required

Location

  • Remote - U.S.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6+ years experience of B2B software or SaaS product marketing experience
  • Product Marketing experience and background across Oracle Technologies: OCI, OCA, Database, middleware, enterprise applications and security
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with hands-on execution in creating a marketing strategy, go-to-market plans, messaging hierarchy, personas, and foundational product and/or service marketing content.
  • Prior in-depth experience with enterprise software and technology support and maintenance or application managed services
  • Highly proficient in developing client go-to-market strategies (solution and services definition, packaging, and positioning) for leading technology, services, or software companies is required.
  • Experienced working with sales leadership and field sales to support, to enhance the overall sales process and increase the sales team proficiency levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching, managing and growing revenue of commercial software products and/or services

Skills

  • Demonstrated track record of working across multiple teams, improving the effectiveness of sales professionals, and developing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and concepts across a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional product launches, sales enablement, and end-to-end development and execution of supporting marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 146k - 183k depending on skills and experience.
