ABOUT THE ROLE

This isn't a "make copies and sit in the back of the room" internship. At TENEX.AI you'll be dropped into the center of the action, working at the intersection of product, marketing and sales strategy where real business decisions get made. You'll own a critical initiative, bring it to life and present your findings directly to company executives. If you want to leave your internship with a portfolio piece you're genuinely proud of and a network that opens doors, this is it.

What Your Internship Looks Like

You will work 30 hours a week. Your core project is building TENEX's competitive intelligence program from the ground up — tracking competitors, synthesizing market signals and turning that research into tools the sales team uses to win deals. You'll also shadow every corner of the go-to-market org, from demand gen to executive leadership, so you leave with a real understanding of how a fast-moving B2B company grows.

Own a Strategic Project: Competitive Intelligence

  • Build and maintain a living competitive intelligence program tracking key competitors across positioning, pricing, product features and go-to-market moves

  • Synthesize market signals into actionable insights that directly shape how TENEX.AI wins deals, positions its product and drives marketing campaigns

  • Develop and present a formal competitive intel report to senior leadership — your findings will directly influence product roadmap decisions and sales strategy

Learn the PMM Craft: Be the Bridge

  • Partner closely with the Product Marketing Director to translate complex product capabilities into compelling stories for buyers and sellers

  • Support the development of sales enablement materials including battle cards, one-pagers and pitch decks that help the sales team win

  • Contribute to campaign messaging and demand generation efforts, connecting product value to market opportunity

Earn Executive Visibility: Be Seen

  • Present your research and recommendations directly to executives — this is a high-visibility role where great work gets noticed

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with marketing, sales, sales enablement and product management teams

  • Operate as a key contributor, not a bystander

You'll leave with a portfolio piece, real executive visibility and a clear picture of what product marketing looks like inside a high-growth AI company.

What We're Looking For:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field

  • Genuinely curious about technology, competition and what makes buyers choose one product over another

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, you can turn complex information into a clear, compelling story

  • Self-starter who can take ownership of a project and drive it forward with minimal hand-holding

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited (not intimidated) by the chance to define something from scratch

  • Bonus (not required): experience with tools like HubSpot and Salesforce

CAPSTONE/SEMESTER END PROJECT — RESUME-WORTHY DELIVERABLE

As the centerpiece of your internship, you'll build and present competitive intelligence program from the ground up — a real, living resource that the sales and marketing teams will use. You'll own it from first research to final boardroom presentation, and what you build will directly influence how TENEX.AI positions itself, responds to competitors, and wins deals.

  • A tiered competitive landscape map identifying direct MDR competitors, adjacent players, and emerging threats — with full profiles covering positioning, pricing, and product capabilities

  • Structured win/loss interviews with Account Executives to surface real-world competitive patterns and the "why we win, why we lose" story

  • A sales enablement toolkit ready for immediate field use: battle cards for each Tier 1 competitor, a "Why TENEX.AI" differentiation one-pager, and an objection handling guide built from actual deal data

  • A strategic competitive intelligence report presented to senior leadership with your findings, identified white space opportunities, and recommendations on where TENEX.AI should double down, defend, and watch

  • A CI maintenance playbook so the program outlives your internship — including update cadence, source monitoring, and sales feedback loops

Skills Required

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who can take ownership of a project
  • Genuinely curious about technology and competition
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot and Salesforce
