Benevity is looking for a Product Marketing Associate who will have the incredible opportunity to co-lead bringing product improvements to market for the Benevity platform. With an impressive crew of more than 900 of the world’s most iconic brands in our community, you’ve got a real opportunity to help grow our client-base and help us reach our moonshot! In this role, you will partner with our Product Marketing Managers, Product, Sales, Client Success and Marketing teams to strategize, position and market our solutions to drive sales, adoption and retention. 

What you will do

  • Plan and participate in activities related to releases of all product feature releases in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Develop and oversee marketing material strategy for all products inclusive of development and production and facilitating feedback loop and ongoing updates
  • Ensure that all of our product-relevant marketing activities adhere to the brand messaging guidelines, resonate with our target audience, and clearly articulate product value proposition, capabilities, competitive differentiation, etc.
  • Own the development of internal and external communications (e.g., Sell sheets, Pitch materials, Product repositories, Product vertical materials, Client Community Engagements, Release Notes) for all solutions
  • Support the enablement team ensuring our sales enablement content is reflective of product positioning, is easily and readily accessible and kept up to date on an ongoing basis
  • Work with our website, content marketing, demand generation, brand, sales and customer success teams to ensure our product messages proliferate throughout the buyer and client journey
  • Contribute to the planning of the product marketing roadmap(s) by supporting the strategy around internal communications, partnering with product operations and product leadership
  • Partner with enablement to leading execution or roadmap communication strategy
  • Act as product marketing owner within portfolios on select releases supporting product marketing and GTM launch. and prioritizing the backlogs, refinement, and sprint planning to ensure alignment with product roadmaps and business unit stakeholder goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you bring

  • 3-5 years in product marketing a similar role, ideally in Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement or Client Success
  • Proven ability to understand the sales process and create materials to support the sales cycle across a portfolio of products
  • Experience producing sales support strategies, solutions and materials to communicate brand and product advantage
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to start with a complex problem, frame up strategic issues and identify key assumptions required to gather and analyze information to translate into compelling market facing activities
  • Experience driving and executing cross-functional projects
  • History of success supporting teams with in a dynamic environment 
  • Experience working with sales teams across a multi portfolio product offering
  • Independent self-starter: ability to think clearly and manage multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Highly developed interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills
  • Strong communication and business writing skills; outstanding presentation skills.
  • Be both independent and a team player focused on excellence
  • An analytical mind and a balance between a data-driven and an emotional approach to marketing (with a lot of common sense!)
