JOB SUMMARY
Support Product Managers and Sales in their daily efforts to grow their product line sales and margins. This position is established to handle many of the immediate, necessary functions/tasks for the Product Managers to fully execute servicing the branches. This position will be servicing your internal customers which includes sales managers, inside/outside sales, and product managers.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
* Standard Price and Delivery requests from sales and product.
* Supplier contract loading, maintenance, renewals and updating.
* Cross reference requests from sales/PMs.
* Sample Requests.
* Part loading on system.
* Literature requests.
* Supplier prints, specification requests.
* Distributor stock checks/part searches
* Become trained to use Quote Accelerator quoting function.
* Opportunity tracker administration.
* Product Manager backup while they are out. Become trained on the major product lines in order to fill in while
PM is out for good coverage.
* Participate fully in all supplier training meetings with sales.
* Attend supplier trainings when possible.
Preferred Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a US Person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (I.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
* Must be able to report to assigned office location during scheduled in-office workdays.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including proficiency in Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be able to manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the team.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while working in a fast-paced
environment.
* Strong customer service skills.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job.
 
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (paperwork, typing, using mouse/keyboard). The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative
work.)
