ALTIVIA is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Product Marketing Analyst to join our Commercial team. This position works closely with the Product Management team to support pricing strategy, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across our commercial operations.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong business acumen and financial analysis skills to work at the intersection of commercial strategy, product management, and market analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a long-term interest in developing a career in product management or other commercial roles, with a focus on pricing, forecasting, and P&L management. This role provides significant exposure to the chemical industry and offers a strong development path toward future commercial leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance product management processes to drive strategic initiatives across the commercial and product teams.
  • Manage and optimize pricing systems across all ALTIVIA businesses, including customer pricing, raw material tracking and invoice validation.
  • Build and refine tools and processes that improve pricing accuracy, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze data to support decisions around production, market strategy, sales, and customer trends using Excel, Microsoft Power BI tools, AI and internal systems.
  • Conduct cost and profitability analyses to inform product-level and business-level financial decisions.
  • Oversee inventory planning and forecasting processes to align with customer demand and production planning.
  • Monitor and improve forecast accuracy using both historical trends and real-time inputs.
  • Maintain and develop dashboards and business intelligence reports in Microsoft Power BI or similar tools.
  • Manage and analyze internal and external market databases to identify key trends and opportunities.
  • Create and present clear, actionable reports and insights for internal stakeholders, including leadership.
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives within the commercial organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a future role in Product Management or a commercial career path.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and experience with data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts including profit and loss, costing, and pricing.
  • Analytical problem-solver with the ability to turn complex data into practical insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively across departments including Product Management, Commercial, and Finance.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Own ambiguous problems end-to-end, creating clarity, structure, and execution plans to drive projects to completion without prescribed processes.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
  • Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar)
