The Role

Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Product Marketer to lead the development, positioning, and promotion of our home fragrance category. This role will play a pivotal part in driving brand growth, enhancing product awareness, and ensuring alignment with consumer trends. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, design, and marketing, to deliver compelling strategies that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research & Consumer Insights:
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive positioning in the home fragrance industry.
    • Gather and interpret customer feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
    • Monitor industry trends, seasonal preferences, and innovations in fragrance delivery systems.
  1. Product Development & Positioning:
    • Collaborate with product teams to define new product concepts, fragrance profiles, and packaging designs.
    • Develop unique value propositions and product messaging to differentiate offerings in the marketplace.
    • Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch evaluation.
  1. Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Design and execute go-to-market strategies, including campaigns for new product launches and seasonal promotions.
    • Create compelling product content for digital, print, and in-store marketing channels.
    • Work with creative teams to develop marketing materials such as advertisements, social media content, and packaging designs.
  1. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:
    • Partner with sales teams to create sales tools, presentations, and training materials to support retail and e-commerce channels.
    • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely production and inventory alignment with marketing plans.
    • Maintain alignment with overall brand objectives and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  1. Performance Measurement:
    • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reporting and actionable insights.
    • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product sales, category growth, and customer engagement.
    • Use data to refine marketing approaches and improve future campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in consumer goods or home fragrance.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of branding, product positioning, and market segmentation.
    • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to translate trends into actionable strategies.
    • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and familiarity with digital marketing platforms.
  • Personal Attributes: Passion for fragrance, creativity, and attention to detail.
