We’re looking for a Product Marketeer Forecast Specialist to join our UK&I Signify team in our office in Guildford.

As a Product Marketeer Forecast Specialist you will optimize availability and stock health through customer data-driven forecasting. In other words, your main responsibility will be analyzing the stock and sales in order to provide accurate demand forecasts to prepare reports and presentations for monthly demand forecasting meetings.

What you’ll do

  • Owner of the financial and volume rolling forecast (RoFo) four quarters out. Drives the local Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and act as the forecasting knowledge base for the market organization.

  • Enhance the baseline/statistical forecast with business insights such as market trends, won/lost customers, won/lost listings, large activations, promotions, shelve rebuilds and NPI launches.

  • Ensure incidental forecast is considered in planning rest of the portfolio (impact of cannibalization).

  • Conduct structural forecast performance/improvement meetings with key customers. Customer contact regarding planning, customer stock and supply.

  • Collaborate with Customer Fulfilment Hub by sharing relevant information for history cleaning like loss of customer and first intake.

  • Validate market phase out / phase in plans and drive portfolio maintenance activities in collaboration with the Region NPI Manager and the Customer Fulfilment Hubs. 

  • Drives process of selling-out SMOS with Sales and Product Marketeer.

  • In case of scarcity and allocation program, specify the rules (priority setting) and review stock allocation to customers and pro-actively connect with central hub to find alternative solutions to solve critical service level issues.

  • Analyze monthly key performance metrics related to forecast accuracy, slow moving stock and first-year-sales (FYS).

Your qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply chain management, Data analytics or Marketing is required.

  • Analytical and numerical mindset with an excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods (in particular using PowerBI and MS Office). SAP (IBP and BW) preferably too.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.

  • High degree of self-motivation and assertiveness.

  • Proactive, results-orientated way of working.

  • Solution-oriented problem solving.

  • Fluent in English.
