In this role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our merchant services—from onboarding to settlement. Execute the product roadmap for merchant acquiring solutions (POS, Payment Gateway, SoftPOS, or Unified Commerce).
Conduct market research to identify gaps in our current acquiring capabilities compared to competitors (e.g., settlement speeds, acceptance rates, alternative payment methods).
Translate high-level business goals into detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories for engineering teams.
2. Merchant Experience (CX) & Lifecycle Management
Actively identify pain points in the merchant journey (e.g., payment failures, ambiguous error codes) and work to eliminate them. Streamline the merchant onboarding and servicing process (KYC/KYB) to reduce "Time to First Transaction.
3. Performance & Analytics
Monitor key product metrics: Authorization Rates, TPV (Total Payment Volume), Churn Rate, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Analyze transaction data to identify failure patterns and work with engineering to fix root causes at the switch/gateway level.
Requirements
Experience: 4–7 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Payments, Merchant Acquiring, or Fin-tech.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance. An MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
