The Purpose of the Role

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the comprehensive business and marketing strategy for a highly professional portfolio used directly by healthcare facilities. You will identify market opportunities, understand the needs of healthcare professionals and laboratories, and ensure our innovative solutions are positioned for maximum value and strategic market penetration. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, exceptional stakeholder/KOL management skills, and a focus on B2B dynamics. You will report to the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Business Leadership

●       Define the overarching business strategy for the current and future product portfolio.

●       Develop and execute specific marketing plans and strategies for the assigned product groups.

●       Identify market opportunities and customer needs to create value for healthcare professionals and patients.

●       Develop business cases for new initiatives and manage resources and budget for all assigned programs and initiatives.

●       Utilize a strong commercial mindset to drive demand and maximize sales for the portfolio.

Market Engagement and Collaboration

●       Engage with key external stakeholders and KOLs, including Lab Directors, Clinicians and Business Partners (distributors), for current and future solutions portfolio.

●       Represent the marketing group on local and global cross-functional teams, driving innovation and market penetration.

●       Foster strong collaboration with diverse internal functions such as Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Finance, ensuring a seamless and integrated approach.

●       Organize and conduct training programs for the sales team/distributors about product specifications, marketing strategies, and competition.

Product Management and Leadership

●       Co-create and implement customized solutions to meet defined outcomes.

●       Drive process improvements to deliver higher productivity.

●       Demonstrate qualities of Creativity, Collaboration, and Contribution in day-to-day work, reflecting an entrepreneurial approach.

●       Involve/contribute forecasting, demand management processes.

●       Actively collaborate with Healthcare Consultants for required projects.

Qualifications We Are Looking For

●       Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science or Business in the related field.

●       Experience: Previous experience in Marketing within the Healthcare (pharmaceutical or diagnostics) sector is important.

●       Mindset: Demonstrated Growth Mindset and a strong commercial mindset.

●       Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build relationships, trust, and influence with internal members and other key stakeholders.

●       Project Management: Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

●       Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills are important.

●       Language: At least an upper-intermediate level of English (both written and verbal) to collaborate internally across the broader Roche enterprise.

●       Travel: Having a driving license and being willing to travel.
