We have an exciting Product Manager opportunity within our Product Management and Commercial Operations organization. In this role, you will lead production planning, product optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient product flow, accurate forecasting, and strong alignment across Sales, Operations, and Scheduling. You will play a key role in maximizing value, streamlining inventory, and supporting strategic commercial initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solicit and evaluate new product or boxing opportunities from Sales and assess feasibility with Operations.
  • Support production scheduling, including variance reporting and plant coordination to ensure execution against plan.
  • Maintain long-term production schedules and support strategic adjustments around holidays or demand changes.
  • Manage new item setups and specification changes through PET processes, including documentation and approvals.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence to support trim optimization and improve yield outcomes.
  • Coordinate inventory movement, transfers, and opportunities to optimize use of fresh and frozen inventory.
  • Partner with Sales and Pricing to support market strategy discussions and provide operational insight.
  • Participate in optimization forums and cross-functional meetings to identify and execute opportunities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Meat Science, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in meat protein production, product management, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and production planning tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Scheduling.

  • Primarily office-based with periodic exposure to plant environments.
  • Occasional overnight or regional travel (approximately 15%).
  • Some exposure to production areas, moving equipment, and temperature variation.
