We are seeking a Product Manager to help shape the future of the CHEF iQ experience by serving as the bridge between customers, engineering, design, culinary, and business teams. This individual will lead product discovery, define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive software experiences from concept through launch across our connected appliance, mobile, and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically fluent, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Own product discovery by identifying customer needs through user research, customer feedback, app reviews, support data, analytics, customer interviews, market research, and stakeholder input.
  • Create and maintain PRDs, user stories, workflows, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria that translate product strategy into actionable development work.
  • Partner closely with software, firmware, UX/UI, culinary, QA, and business teams to align priorities and deliver high-impact product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and intuitive customer experiences.
  • Define success metrics and use customer feedback, analytics, and product performance data to prioritize enhancements and drive product decisions.
  • Serve as the product expert for CHEF iQ software experiences, providing guidance and product knowledge across engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and leadership teams.

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a related role building, launching, and improving digital products, software platforms, connected devices, or customer facing features.
  • Experience gathering customer insights and translating them into product requirements and feature enhancements.
  • Strong experience writing PRDs, user stories, workflows, and functional specifications.
  • Experience with UX principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design.
  • Strong technical fluency with connected products and a working understanding of how embedded appliance software, mobile applications, cloud services, APIs, and IoT systems interact. Ability to participate meaningfully in technical discussions with engineering teams.
  • Experience working with software development teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, including defining success metrics, analyzing product data, and using quantitative and qualitative insights to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with connected consumer products, mobile applications, IoT devices, smart home technology, kitchen appliances, or consumer electronics is preferred.
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered features, recommendation systems, or Generative AI applications is a plus.
Salary Range (commensurate with experience)
$100,000$120,000 USD
