Role Overview
We are looking for a professional to support a set of front-end data and analytics applications. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role with a strong focus on structuring requirements and working closely with development and QA teams on a daily basis.
This role combines product ownership, business analysis, and delivery coordination, acting as a key link between business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams. The successful candidate will help define, shape, and deliver product features with a strong focus on clarity, usability, and business value, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve workflows and introduce practical, data- and technology-driven improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sprint planning and iteration cycles, ensuring clear prioritization of work
- Balance short-term delivery priorities with longer-term product improvements
- Ensure shared understanding of business requirements and intended user experience
- Conduct research and analysis to define new product features and enhancements
- Build and maintain well-defined JIRA stories, including structured acceptance criteria
- Collaborate closely with Developers and QA engineers on a daily, hands-on basis, workshopping stories and requirements
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features and releases
- Provide support for production issues, working with technical teams to resolve them
- Build and maintain views, custom fields, and query templates
- Create and maintain product documentation (e.g. specifications, release notes, user guidance) and support knowledge transfer across teams
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in hedge or mutual fund administration with strong domain knowledge
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret, validate, and work with complex datasets (e.g. Excel advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros; SQL or similar query languages; Python or other scripting tools)
- Interest in AI, automation, or data-driven solutions, with evidence of turning ideas into practical solutions that improve workflows or data usage
- Demonstrated solution-oriented mindset, with examples of implementing practical improvements (e.g. building reports, automating processes, creating tools or workflows)
- Experience translating business requirements into JIRA stories or equivalent deliverables
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
