What is the team & role about?

We are hiring a Platform Product Manager - Banking Platform to own and scale core banking and money-movement platform capabilities that power multiple financial products. This role focuses on bank account lifecycles, payment rails, partner integrations, and regulatory-ready infrastructure, enabling product teams to build reliably and at scale.

This is a senior product leadership role combining deep platform ownership, people management, executive-level communication, and structured problem-solving. You will operate as a trusted partner to Engineering leadership and CXOs, translating complex technical and regulatory challenges into clear decisions and execution plans.

What will you do?

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more Banking Services platform domains (e.g., account onboarding, verification, bank transfers, settlements).

  • Define clear product goals, success metrics, and trade-offs across reliability, compliance, and feature delivery.

  • Manage the full product lifecycle—from discovery and requirements to launch, adoption, and optimization.

Banking Infrastructure & Money Movement

  • Drive platform capabilities supporting bank account lifecycles and money movement (e.g., ACH equivalents, local bank transfers, instant payments, reconciliation workflows).

  • Lead integrations with banking partners, payment processors, and financial infrastructure providers.

  • Ensure strong handling of edge cases such as failures, retries, reversals, exceptions, and settlements.

Compliance, Risk & Resilience

  • Translate regulatory, scheme, and partner constraints into clear platform requirements (e.g., auditability, controls, data retention, reporting).

  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to ensure controls are embedded into platform design.

  • Drive platform resilience designing for partner outages, degraded modes, and recovery scenarios.

Execution & Delivery

  • Write high-quality PRDs and platform requirements that engineers can execute against with clarity.

  • Prioritize across run-the-business work, platform improvements, and new enablement initiatives.

  • Lead cross-functional execution across multiple engineering teams.

Stakeholder & Internal Customer Experience

  • Act as the product owner for internal consumers of the platform (Product, Engineering, Ops).

  • Improve developer and internal product team experience through clear APIs, documentation, and self-serve capabilities.

  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to senior leadership.
