Role Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for leading product planning and execution across the full product lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer and business requirements, defining the product vision, and ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and goals. The role works closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver user‑centric digital products with speed, quality, and impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product and customer requirements
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with organizational goals
  • Identify product gaps and generate ideas to grow adoption, value, and customer satisfaction
  • Create internal and external buy‑in for product direction and roadmap
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, prototypes, epics, and user stories
  • Scope and prioritize work based on business value and customer impact
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Lead and support product launches in collaboration with communications and leadership teams
  • Evaluate promotional plans for consistency with product strategy
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback on products and services

General Skills

  • Experience delivering MRDs and PRDs with clearly prioritized features
  • Experience working with external partners on assessments and evaluations
  • Experience running beta and pilot programs for early‑stage products
  • Strong teamwork, deadline management, and ability to balance competing priorities
  • Proven client and stakeholder relationship management experience

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Product Management (50%)

  • Extensive experience developing and owning product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for complex IT systems
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams through iterative, user‑centric delivery
  • Strong decision‑making and prioritization skills
  • Proven success managing the full product development lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Extensive experience with Agile delivery
  • Experience managing scope, budget, and timelines
  • Extensive experience translating vision into epics, user stories, and a prioritized backlog
  • Experience assessing customer needs, market trends, and build vs. buy decisions
  • Proven collaboration with UX, design, engineering, and external partners

Technical Experience (20%)

  • Ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams and leading technical discussions
  • Experience with modern technology stacks and integration with legacy systems
  • Experience managing privacy, policy, and security requirements
  • Experience delivering products compliant with AODA and WCAG standards

Communication (30%)

  • Exceptional written and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within large, complex stakeholder environments
  • Clear, concise communicator able to convey ideas without ambiguity
