Summary
This role reports to the Direct Marketing Manager and is responsible for developing and driving marketing strategies and programs for a product or portfolio across its full lifecycle. This includes market analysis, product positioning, pricing, product launches, and future development. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, design, suppliers, and customers, to define product requirements and enhance market competitiveness.
What You Do
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, assess product positioning, and recommend strategic priorities
- Gather customer insights to develop and tailor compelling value propositions for different target audiences
- Drive customer engagement and translate needs into product enhancements and improved satisfaction
- Design and implement pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on marketing plans, product launches, and annual portfolio strategies
- Leverage clinical and technical expertise to educate stakeholders and clearly articulate product value
- Partner with sales enablement to define training strategies and equip teams for effective execution
- Set measurable marketing objectives, manage budgets and forecasts, and track performance through post-launch analysis and continuous improvement
What You Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the medical device industry, spanning across Sales & Marketing
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with R&D, engineering, regulatory, and commercial teams
- Ability to influence and drive action in a matrix environment without direct authority
- Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Endoscope or MIS (minimally invasive surgery) market experience is preferred
