Description

POSITION TITLE: Product Manager, AI

LOCATION: Burbank, CA

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Position Overview
We’re searching for a Product Manager who knows their way around AI, data, media workflows, and actual delivery pressure. This role will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for AI-powered capabilities across Deluxe’s localization and distribution ecosystem. You will partner with our AI Agent engineering team to design, prioritize, and launch AI solutions that automate tedious workflows, assist operators throughout the order-to-delivery lifecycle, and uncover optimization opportunities hidden inside our enormous historical dataset.

If you enjoy identifying inefficiencies, transforming them into elegant product opportunities, and building AI systems that help real humans do their jobs better and faster, welcome aboard.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
•    Define and maintain the AI product vision, roadmap, and strategic outcomes aligned with Deluxe’s platform modernization initiatives.
•    Work closely with AI Agent developers, product managers, and operational teams to identify high-impact use cases across localization, metadata, asset management, and distribution workflows.
•    Analyze existing processes and datasets to uncover automation opportunities, predictive insights, and agentic AI applications that deliver measurable ROI.
•    Ensure AI capabilities enhance user experience, reduce manual data entry, and streamline order-to-delivery execution.
•    Communicate strategy, roadmap, milestones, and performance metrics to stakeholders across technology, product, operations, and executive leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Lead backlog creation and prioritization for AI initiatives, aligning development with business value, operational efficiency, and technical feasibility.
•    Partner with engineering to translate complex AI use cases into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
•    Drive discovery efforts: workflow mapping, data analysis, interviews with operators, and evaluation of current tools and systems.
•    Build and maintain detailed product specifications for AI agents, automation features, predictive models, and workflow-optimized experiences.
•    Facilitate sprint planning, demos, and ongoing refinement with AI development teams.
•    Manage risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure reliable delivery of AI features.
•    Partner with UX teams to ensure agent-driven workflows remain intuitive, trustworthy, and operator-approved.
•    Validate releases using KPIs such as time savings, accuracy improvements, error reduction, and operational throughput.
•    Serve as the internal and external advocate for Deluxe’s AI strategy, capabilities, and roadmap.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•    5+ years of experience in product management or product development, ideally with exposure to AI/ML, data-driven products, or workflow automation.
•    Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and managing iterative development cycles.
•    Experience transforming business needs into refined roadmaps and backlogs.
•    Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, evaluate workflows, and quantify product value.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to interface confidently with executive stakeholders, engineers, and operators.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and build alignment across cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Management, Media Technology, or a related field.
•    Understanding of post-production, localization, content supply-chain workflows, or media technology.
•    Experience working with large datasets, AI agents, LLM-driven workflows, or automation platforms.
•    Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, analytics platforms, and modern AI development environments.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
•    AI agents reducing manual data entry by measurable percentages.
•    Predictive insights that help teams make faster, better decisions.
•    Increased throughput in order-to-delivery workflows.
•    Higher operational satisfaction because tedious tasks become automated or assisted.
•    A roadmap that continuously expands AI’s footprint across Deluxe platforms, grounded in real business impact.
