The Product Manager will lead the Mobile Light Tower portfolio. This role is responsible for defining and executing product strategy, managing the full product lifecycle, and developing a multi-generation roadmap that drives market share growth and margin expansion. The Product Manager will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, Sales, and Marketing to translate customer and market insights into actionable product requirements. This individual will play a key role in delivering innovative, high-impact products that meet revenue and profitability objectives while ensuring successful product development and execution.

Major Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of the Mobile Light Tower product portfolio to support long-term growth and profitability.

  • Leverage customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market data to develop differentiated products that enhance customer experience and strengthen market position.

  • Evaluate product and technology landscapes to identify innovation opportunities, create product differentiation, and drive product cost optimization.

  • Define, size, and identify targeted market segments for growth opportunities; analyze the competitive and regulatory landscapes; actively identify portfolio gaps and opportunities

  • Lead new product development initiatives, including business case development, requirements definition, and cross-functional alignment from concept through launch.

  • Partner with the SIOP team to develop demand forecasts that incorporate market growth, regional trends, and product phase-in/phase-out plans.

  • Drive margin expansion through strategic pricing, product positioning, and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Monitor product performance using key metrics such as revenue, margin, and market share; adjust strategies as needed to achieve business goals.

  • Support go-to-market strategies including product positioning, product launches, sales enablement, and marketing initiatives.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of professional experience including 1+ years of experience in product management or related fields.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skilled in fostering team collaboration and driving results.

  • focused on hands-on execution and operational management of a specific product area, laying the groundwork for broader product management responsibilities.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Experience managing product strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle management for manufactured or technical products.

  • Proven success leading new product development (NPD) programs from concept through launch in a cross-functional environment.

  • Experience analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to drive product strategy and differentiation.

  • Experience developing business cases, pricing strategies, and margin improvement initiatives.

  • Familiarity with forecasting, demand planning, and SIOP processes.

  • Experience in industrial equipment, construction equipment, rental industry, or related B2B markets

  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, key cross-functional partners, and customers. Works collaboratively rather than in isolation, actively communicating and partnering with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze, interpret, and organize data, and translate insights into a clear, compelling story.

  • Engages with customers and actively advocates for their needs, while prioritizing customer requirements in decision-making.

  • Possesses strong organizational capabilities to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrates strong understanding of business operations, strategy, and decision-making.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
