What You'll Do

As a Sr. Product Manager at Sitetracker, you will hit the ground running and make an immediate impact by partnering closely with our customers to uncover and shape new product investment opportunities that drive measurable value in our target markets. You’ll build a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, aligning investments with specific product outcomes that advance our strategy. With a sharp focus on prioritisation, you will manage product initiatives from concept to execution—translating complex problems into clear goals and measurable targets. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will champion adoption, ensure tangible results, and accelerate Sitetracker’s impact in the industries we serve.

Product Discovery:
Ability to identify important problems to solve through targeted customer discovery
Effective with a variety of research techniques
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview customers using their language and terminology

Roadmap & Prioritization
Prioritise based on value provided, strategic alignment and delivery risk
Ability to build a business model that aligns with the required product investment
Ability to define goals, success metrics and outcomes for each initiative
Ability to develop a product positioning guide that communicates the value proposition of the product
Constant and consistent validation of previous product investments to ensure outcomes are achieved

Collaboration
Manage product stakeholders (sales, customer success, engineering, product design) effectively to gain alignment
Ability to confidently communicate priorities internally and externally

Product
Requirements Definition
Ability to document product needs through a well thought out PRD Ability to break down a problem into increments that have value in the marketplace
Aligning products with buyer and user personas to define an ideal customer profile
Can perform competitive analysis and counter positioning to drive adoption in the marketplace

Within 90 Days, You’ll:

  • Become familiar with our internal tools and Product Playbook
  • Gain a strong technical understanding of the Sitetracker product and capabilities
  • Be able to articulate the value Sitetracker provides to our customers, the problems we solve, the people we solve them for, and the market segments we’re in
  • Become Sitetracker Certified to gather a breadth of knowledge of the entire Sitetracker product, even beyond the area that you own
  • Inherit the current roadmap for your product area and begin collaborating with your Scrum team to ensure the continuous delivery of value as you become integrated within the Sitetracker Product Team
  • Have built working relationships with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Implementations, Customer Success, and Marketing

Within 180 Days, You’ll:

  • Establish lines of communication with customers and engage in activities such as roadmap reviews, customer feedback sessions, and discovery interviews
  • Become the go-to person for Engineering, Product Design, and Product Marketing for your product area
  • Collaboratively define a roadmap that shows how your product area is likely to evolve over the next year
  • Be deeply involved in product discovery, uncovering and validating business problems, and iteratively defining solutions
  • Drive the delivery of several current roadmap items

Within 365 Days, You’ll:

  • Be a subject matter expert in the market, our business, and our product
  • Have guided the company through an entire end-to-end product development cycle–identifying and validating a market problem, defining success, incorporating it into the roadmap, iteratively defining the right solution, leading engineering through the development of features, launching new capabilities to market, observing   and   measuring   the   results,   communicating   our   progress   to   the company, and releasing follow-on product improvements needed to confirm we’ve hit our goal
  • Have strong working relationships with all the cross-functional teams in the company that allows you to rapidly deliver new ideas and features
  • Have visibly and measurably levelled up our Product Management operational excellence

Skills Required

  • Customer and market-centric product management experience
  • Experience conducting product discovery and customer interviews
  • Strong communication skills for interviewing customers and stakeholder alignment
  • Roadmap prioritization based on value, strategy, and delivery risk
  • Ability to define goals, success metrics and measurable outcomes
  • Ability to create business models to justify product investment
  • Experience writing clear product requirements/PRDs and breaking problems into incremental value delivery
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, design, sales, customer success)
  • Ability to perform competitive analysis and product positioning
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum product development and working with Scrum teams
