Product Manager

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Product Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
• Product Management certification or specialization is required.
• 5+ years of experience working with software development teams under Agile methodologies.
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Leader.
• Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business or institutional needs into scalable digital products.
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and product tools (e.g., Jira) to manage backlogs and roadmaps.
• Solid understanding of usability, accessibility, scalability, and data security principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking product and business metrics (ROI, adoption, churn, engagement).
• Experience working with clients or stakeholders in education, public sector, or impact-driven environments is a plus.
• Conversational to Full Professional Proficiency in English.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Define and execute product strategies aligned with client objectives, institutional goals, and business outcomes.
• Establish a clear product vision and connect MVP initiatives to measurable goals and impact.
• Lead discovery efforts with Design and Research teams to identify user needs, opportunities, and product-market fit.
• Translate insights into actionable roadmaps, epics, user stories, and clear product requirements.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
• Define and oversee non-functional requirements, including accessibility, scalability, usability, and data security.
• Plan and coordinate product launches and releases with marketing, communication, and operations teams.
• Monitor product performance and user adoption, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, executives, and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand product value, adoption, or business with existing clients.
• Document decisions, risks, dependencies, and blockers to ensure alignment and transparency.
