Product Manager

PlusMinusOne is a mobile startup studio that focuses on developing and marketing its own apps that are used and loved by millions of people around the world. Our products collectively reach more than a half-million new users every month in the US market alone. We are a startup operating with offices in San Francisco, Istanbul and Ankara.

We have been building  AI focus mobile products on Business, Photo & Video, Health & Fitness and Education categories in the App Store mainly for the US market since 2016. And in each of these categories, our goal is the same: provide actual value to people with the best mobile user experience.

We’re in an exciting period of growth and are looking for an exceptional Product Manager who will help us shape the future of mobile.

What we are looking for:

• Strong passion about understanding and solving users’ problems,
• Strong understanding of modern AI capabilities and limitations, and ability to translate them into real product value,
• Excellent critical analytical thinking skill,
• Entrepreneurial and self starter mindset,
• Ability to manage AI trade-offs (quality vs. speed vs. cost) and make data-driven prioritization decisions from both quantitative and qualitative data,
• Strong ability to find out and prioritize high impact work,
• Keeping up with AI trends, mobile app ecosystem and understanding users’ behavior
• Strong written and spoken English communication and collaboration skills,

Great bonus if you have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a mobile app company,
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and Shape Up model
• Efficiently usage of AI tools personally (for analysis, research, prototyping, documentation) to speed up execution and improve product quality.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Define the biggest problems and opportunities and solve them in lean way,
• Contribute and implement product strategy, roadmap, and features for our mobile apps,
• Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch,
• Responsible for working with our product team to understand and coordinate product strategy, release timelines, and product quality,
• Collaborate with developers, designers, data analysts and growth team to ensure the timely and successful deliver of products and get great outcomes.
• Own the user experience and ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction,
• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new product opportunities,
• Testing ongoing tasks and ensuring that everything is on schedule
